So no wifi in Paris Disneyland. And when they say no, they mean it! So finally, I’m in London! But this post shall be about Paris! On the last three days of our Paris stay, we visited Disneyland! We put up at a Disney hotel called Santa Fe which was cars themed! All Disney hotels have a shuttle bus to and from the park so that’s really convenient! The rides were really awesome! Jeselle had her first experience on a roller coaster and man does she like it! Hands up even! Anyway picture post tomorrow, and overall, Disneyland was a wonderful and magical experience! Goodnight from London!
So today wasn’t as exciting as the days before! Not going to upload photos because all the photos are repeats from my previous posts. We revisited the tourist sites! Today started off with us going to galeries lafayette to do a little shopping! After which we headed to champ élysées! Almost bought lv merch because everything was cheap! But nah, we didn’t! In and out of different outlets, we arrived at the Christmas markets along champ élysées! Beautiful place! After the Christmas market street, we made our way to the longchamp outlet! Just in time for closing! And unlike Singapore, where they rush us to make our purchases, they actually let us finish out shopping before closing! So mum got a bag… 290 euros. As if she was some rich woman. And I got two bags for myself! Both lepilage so it’s not that ex! Just 90 euros and 65 euros! So now I have three!!! Juliette got one too! And so did jeselle! I managed to get one for sarah and Tessa’s aunt too! So that’s like 7 bags in total! Madness! After all that shopping, we headed home! But we stopped for a Ferris wheel ride on roué de Paris! Then made our way back by foot to the hotel! Tip one, if you’re coming on a holiday to Europe and you’re from a place like Singapore where cabs are dirt cheap (as compared to Europe), start on the cardio! Taxi fares will be the death of you. I’m going to Disneyland tomorrow so I really can’t wait! It’s the second Disneyland ill be visiting! The first was Tokyo… But I was young and I can barely remember anything so I’m so excited! So goodnight!! Will do a post on Disney with pretty pretty pictures!
So, as promised, I’m here with my update on day 2! We started off today with a walk to the museum – orsey. The museum featured works from renowned artists such as whistler and Van Gogh. Had a pretty alright time there I should say! After that we headed out for lunch which we took forever to decide on! After lunch we headed to the lourve where I met my old pal Mona Lisa! Hahah after that, we decided to go on the Paris tour bus! We went around to see places like the Paris opera, champs élysées, arc de triomphe, and the eiffle tower! After that, we cruised down river siene. Take home dinner again because it got too cold and jeselle was really tired! Oh yeah! theres this bridge with locks, like lovers locks in Korea! I want to come back to do this! And also we took funny photos at the museum!! And I’m NEVER wearing tights again. Wore them today and forever regret doing so. Haha. Here are some pictures!
So I don’t know if I’ve blogged about it. But for this year, my dad decided to take us to Paris & London! It’s my dream holiday and I’m so glad it’s finally happening. So we left changi airport at 1155 after Rachel and ashley showed up to surprise me and send me off! And after a 14 hour flight, we arrived in Paris! First thing I have to say about Paris is that it’s the land of travelators. Travelators everywhere. But I kind of Realised it was in only so in the airport… Things didn’t start off too well because our transport wasn’t there to fetch us!! So we had to find our own way to the hotel. To make matters worse, we were heading towards a wrong hotel so we ended up walking like half of Paris. So once we put the bags down, it was time to go check some tourist spots out. We saw sacre coeur, notre dame, and moulin rouge today! We had take home dinner cause it was raining and we were freezing cold! Oh yeah about sacre coeur! I got mugged there! Well not really… But I wanna step a bit so let me. A girl who came up to kind of ask me to donate money to her cause she was part of a “deaf & dumb” association took my churros right out of the box it was in, tore it into half and then returned me half… I know. I felt the same way.. Anyway other than what I’ve said. There’s nothing much to add? Apart from that I survived Paris with a layer of heat tech, fleece and a pull over and jeans. Freezing! But still alive (: okay nothing more (: ill post about day 2 tmr!
